About Creative Expressions

Hi,

Creative Expressions is a partnership that my sister, Diana, and I established two years ago. We developed the partnership because I retired after teaching both Spanish and Language Arts for 23 years and needed a creative outlet.

My sister, Diana, is a bilingual speech-language pathologist so she understood the difficulty that teachers have in finding affordable educational materials for use in the classroom. As a result, we established Creative Expressions so we could design and develop Spanish/English educational materials to sell on-line.

At the present time, we have our Creative Expressions store on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. So far, we have developed over 90 products so please visit our store at https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Creative-Expressions and follow us so that you can receive an email when we upload and post new products.

I am Paula Ramirez and I have been married to my wonderful husband for 33 years. Both of us are retired now and are loving our new life! I have been in the field of education for 20 plus years. I have taught middle school and high school and have been a principal, assistant principal, and central office administrator in the public schools and correctional settings. I have taught English/Language Arts, ESL and Spanish to middle school and high school students. I have always loved creating my own educational materials and am loving publishing our own materials at TpT.

I have had some of my childhood stories published by Red Rock Press and International Publications. I look forward to writing more stories and creating educational resources with my sister.

My sister, Diana Gonzales, is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and has a doctoral degree in Communication Disorders. She has experience in working with the 0-3 population and is currently teaching at a university. Creative Expressions serves as a creative outlet for her as well.

She has published book chapters and several papers in her area of expertise in bilingual childhood language disorders.

Both of us love reading, writing and working on arts and crafts. We both hope to spend more of our time with family, blogging, and creating more educational resources.

Hasta Luego,

Paula Ramirez and Diana Gonzales
